From Payment Management to Banking

The support for your Payment Management solution is being phased out, and we recommend that you switch to Continia Banking as soon as possible and no later than April 1, 2027.

(Continia’s initial announcement set the deadline to October 1, 2026. The deadline has subsequently been extended to April 1, 2027. However, we recommend making the switch as soon as possible.)

• Both the Payment Management app and its support will reach end of life on April 1, 2027.
• Going forward, Continia Banking will be the actively maintained and developed solution.
• Continia Banking is very similar to the solution you know today, while also giving you access to new features and improvements.
• The licensing cost of Continia Banking is largely on the same level as your current Payment Management solution.

What should you do?

It depends on which solution you are using today.

Business Central Cloud:
The switch must be completed before April 1, 2027. We recommend making the transition as soon as possible.

Business Central On-premises:
You can continue using Payment Management, but we recommend switching to Continia Banking now, as support for Payment Management will end on April 1, 2027, according to Continia.

The transition from Payment Management to Banking is straightforward. The functionality will feel familiar, and we will guide you through the process every step of the way.

Practical considerations

To ensure a smooth transition, the following prerequisites must be in place before we can complete the migration:

• Business Central version 26 or later
• Payment Management version 26.5 or later
• Journals and worksheets must be cleared before the migration.
• Posting and journals must be up to date.

If you have custom-developed code or other customizations that depend on Payment Management, additional modifications may be required as part of the transition.
