Perhaps you\u2019ve already started using this functionality. <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Starting August 1, 2026, the rules on extended producer responsibility (EPR) will apply to many Danish companies. This means that responsibility for packaging will shift from the municipality to the company, which will be required to register and report quantities to the authorities going forward. <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Business Central 2025 Wave 2 introduced additional functionality for data capture and reporting, allowing tasks to be handled directly within the system. For many companies, this will mark a shift from manual Excel spreadsheets to a more integrated process. <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the same time, we\u2019re seeing the beginnings of support for CBAM and other sustainability initiatives. It\u2019s about integrating the necessary data into daily workflows\u2014for example, in procurement and inventory management\u2014so that reporting becomes a natural part of operations. <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is worth noting that this is only the first step.
